2011

New Spitalfields market recently hosted a delegation of students visiting from North Carolina State University, USA, where they are currently studying agriculture. One of the students actually found produce grown by her grandfather, boxed and being sold by JT Produce Ltd.

The market recently had a visit by first year catering students from Chelmsford College in Essex.  They were given a tour of the market pavilion where they learnt about the   produce available from around the world and were then treated to a full english breakfast in one of the cafes onsite.
